Experience:
I completed the entirety of the curriculum and clinical internships of a medical doctorate in Haiti, including a one-year internship focused on emergency care, followed by experience as a general practitioner (degree in progress, certificate obtained). I hold certifications in general first aid, CPR, and AED (Canadian Red Cross), in psychological first aid, in intervention in psychological distress (TÉLUQ) as well as in elder care for those with dementia, delirium, and depression (RNAO Ontario). Gentle, caring, and calm under pressure, I speak fluent French (intermediate English, Haitian Creole as my mother tongue). I live in Vanier (Ottawa) and am authorized to work in Canada (open work permit).
